Feb 22, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) The Times Of India is reporting that popular music director Jeet Ganguly from Bengal has won the Best Upcoming Music Director Award at the Mirchi Music Awards for the song Bhor Bhayo from the original soundtrack OST from ( the 2009 film Morning Walk () directed by Arup Datta starring Anupam Kher, Rajit Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Sharmila Tagore, Shayan Munshi and others. In an exclusive interview in TOI, Jeet Ganguly talks about his future in Tollywood Bengali Movie industry vs the opportunities that have opened up recently in Bollywood. Jeet defends his original compositions against recent perception by some of his particular songs as plagiarized. Jeet Ganguly has now become a singer as well composer and talks about whether a hit song should be credited to him or the actor that lip-synchs the song in the movie (often DEV ADHIKARI - one of the ruling heroes in Kolkata Bangla film industry).
