Contrary to reports that Miss India Earth 2009, Pooja Chopra, will star opposite Jackie Bhagnani in his father Vashu Bhagnani's film Faltu, the truth is that Pooja is not doing the film.Talking to reporters yesterday, Pooja said that she was grossly upset with Vashu for leaking it to the press that she was doing the film before she had signed it.
Pooja said that Vashu offered her Faltu before she embarked for the Miss India contest. The next thing she knows is that there were reports saying that she's doing his film. Her agency got into action and did some damage control. She's not supposed to sign any film till she crowns her successor, which will happen in April 2010. But she's definitely not going to sign Faltu even now because this whole incident has left her with a very sour taste.
Vashu Bhagnani remained unavailable for comment. However, Jackie Bhagnani chipped in saying that they had not offered any film to Pooja Chopra. He hasn't even met her. The only girl who was under consideration was Puja Gupta, Miss India Universe 2007.
